DIRECTIONS The Rattlesnake Lodge area is above mile post 375 on the Blue Ridge
Parkway, and can be reached by two common paths.  One, from the Tanbark Ridge
Tunnel, where there is some limited parking, is .44 miles long and takes about
20 minutes. Moderate hike. The other, a trip of 1.42 miles from Bull Gap, is not
as steep. To get to the start at the gap, leave the Parkway at the Ox Creek Road,
and continue to the right for  about .6 miles. There is a small parking area at Bull
Gap. Go about 50 yards to the gap and turn left on the Mountain to Sea trail.
The trail is marked with white blazes.  It is an easy walk to the lodge area.
